I know that some cornball will say that it taste like pickles, but for the people that actually ate fried pickles, I want to know. The term "fried pickles" sounds interesting.

drain sliced pickles, dip in 1/2 flour, 1/2 cornmeal mixture and
drop in hot grease, drain on paper towels.
We love them, get them at a great Seafood place every time we
go. Definitely dip in Ranch dip. If you squeeze lemon on your
fried shrimp, you have the general taste of a fried pickle.

Actually they're pretty tasty! Some people make them differently tho, some use spears and some use slices.
Hooters has some good ones - they're basically like sliced hamburger dills battered and fried. The serve them with this ranch sauce that's like ranch dressing with some hot wing sauce mixed in. Yum!
