Its kinda mormal. It all depends really. If you're drinking around 8-10 glasses or so a day then thats fine. If its much more you may be dehaydrated somehow. Salt intake may have alot to do with it..if you eat alot of salty foods then it makes your body want more water. You can always ask your doctor at your next visit or even do some own personal research using medical books, asking friends and/or family, or the innernet, but I really dont think it should be a problem.

It depends on how much you drink each day. 8-10 eight oz glasses is a good amount for a normal day. If you exercise, you'll need to drink additional water because you need to replace what you've lost during exercise. The 8-10 eight oz glasses is a maintenance thing. And don't think that just because it's cool outside that you don't need as much water. If you're outside in cooler temperatures and your body is trying to maintain its temperature, you need to increase your water intake, people don't realize just how dehydrated you can get in cool/cold temperatures.
Think of it like oil for a car engine...not enough you burn up the engine (your body), too much, and you blow a gasket or seal.
Yes, there is such a thing as drinking too much water. On an "average day" your intake should be between one quarter and one half cup (2 - 4 ozs) per hour. More than that and you'll spend all your time in the bathroom because your body can only process so much liquid at any given time. If it can't absorb it, the body gets rid of it. If you drink more than your body can absorb, or eliminate, ...well, the water has to go somewhere, i.e. edema due to water retention...and UNDER EXTREME conditions (notice, the "under extreme" is in all caps) it can cause swelling in the cranial cavity, (around the brain),....just ask the military about hydration after someone has suffered heat related stress.
So yes, drink as much water as you crave...just pay attention to your body and remember, that by the time your body tells you you're thirsty...you are a quart (32 ozs) low on water, and sip the water, do not gulp it down.

It is good for you to drink as much as you want. The only problem is that you may frequent the loo to often and wake up in the night more number of times.
I am assuming you are not wasting water by drinking that much. Water acts as a flush and keeps you clean. The question is to balance the "overheads" of urinating frequently (or do you perspire so profusely?).

Depends. The standard is eight 8 ounce glasses a day. If you're drinking a little more, it shouldn't be a problem. Way more than that, and you'll drown.

Don't bother trying to drink any certain amount - just drink when you're thirsty and don't obsess about it.
All those tales about you "have" to drink 8 glasses a day (or even more!) are just an old wives' tale - urban legend.
