We've booked a Med cruise with Regent Seven Seas. As it is our first cruise, all advice would be appreciated.

Does anyone have any experience of this line? I would be grateful for any guidance in respect of dresscode or any other tips about cruising.

Regent is one of the best luxury lines, in my opinion. The ships are really great, the food and entertainment is good, the ports are wonderful, you really can't go wrong.

The only time I wouldn't recommend Regent is if you have kids, it isn't one of the most popular lines for families because there aren't as many activities.

I have only cruised with Carnival. But I loved it. This was the first vacation I have ever been on that I actually felt like I had been on vacation. You don't have to drive anywhere just walk. The food was great but if you don't like what they bring you, you can get something else. The rooms are not much, but the only reason I was in my room was to sleep, shower, or change. I also found that you can book any shore activities on the ship but there are always a ton of people at all ports that will give you a great price to take you around the island for cheaper. But you may feel more comfortable booking on the ship the first time. I went with a friend and her family who had been on multi cruises and they new all the tricks of the trade. The best advise I can give you is the relax and have a great time.
