It depends on what type of anesthetic they use and whether you take any sedatives or amnesics during the procedure. In general, I would say that you need to take someone with you and have them drive you home, since driving is probably not safe for at least 24 hours. You should really ask the doctor at the clinic you're going to, though.

If you get an abortion the drugs they give you are too strong for you to be able to drive home. You need someone to come with you and drive you home, or at least take a cab.

The point is that you need someone to come with you cause you'll be really messed up after

Most clinics do not allow you to drive home alone. However, if you have only local, it is possible. Share your concern with the staff at the clinic and see what they say.

Technically the doctor should have advised you to have someone standing by to drive you home. But if you feel ok to drive and have no other altenative, I guess you'll have to. I would ask a friend to drive you home tho...its safer.

yes, but it depends on the person and how they react to anesthesia.
You might want to bring a friend.

Maybe but I wouldn't reccomend it. Take a close friend or family member or co-worker that is willing to see that you get home safe. Good luck.

So many couples can't have children of their own...have you thought about giving it up for adoption instead? A lot of times, all medical bills will be paid for by the adopting parents. I won't preach to you, because you sure don't need that...but I really wish you'd really think about this first...there are so many options available.

In my opinion I do not think that an abortion is right I think that it is murder. There is other things that you could consider like adoption. The baby can not help it is not the baby's fault.....I am a christian I just do not believe in it I never will...I think that people should have to pay the consequence...
