Actually, "real love" doesn't usually start as lust. And if you just feel lust, you'll probably end up in a dead relationship, where you don't like or love them.

Love develops w/ mutual respect and admiration for the person....Lust is just wanting to have hot and steamy sex (or at least make-out sessions). It varies. There's no timeline for it by transformation. But I can say that I think some people have some idea in the early stage of the lust to know if they will fall for hte person or not. Some are seriously with a person just for the lust and have no desire for more. Usually in a man's case. But for women....we fall almost any guy we're with long enough. Beh.

Just because lust often exists before love, doesn't mean lust turns into love. These feelings co-exist, as opposed to one creating the other. Lust is tied to passion, and is often fleeting. Many people confuse that passion for love.

every relationship starts with lust, sometimes it goes further to the love stage, and sometimes it doesn't. Lust can last anywhere from lust at first sight, thru many years later.
