well, if you believe that all men should be in control then of course the guy should ask the girl, but if you aren't a sexist pig then it shouldn't matter. and I'm sorry if i sound rude.

Traditionally the man asks the woman. But these are different times and personally I see nothing wrong with a woman asking a guy to marry him! I applaud the woman who does.

If women waited for their boyfriends to propose, a lot of them would be waiting forever. Most guys have no urgency for marriage, even if they love the girl.
This is the 21st century, women can ask a guy out, or ask him to marry her.

i feel it a woman should wait for the man to propose marriage ,

this is not the 18th century.yes, it's ok for the woman to ask.i admit that it's not very common, but it is widely accepted in todays society.
