Witch is better for cooling, Ive read alot on these but i live in San Diego, I know ive heard humity is important with a swamp cooler..but witch works best to keep a room cool?

Ok Air conditioners work better, But do portable Air Conditioners work good??

Air conditioners keep it cooler, period. Swamp coolers work to cool a room down, and they keep it comfortable if the humidity is below 30% or so, and they are much cheaper to run.
