I'm thinking pitbull. Suggestions.
Please don't say,"get some counselling", I am not allowed withing a hundred metres of the counsellor in my town so it is not an option. I figured a dog would do the trick.
Do you agree?

You look pretty colorful already! I think a nice sugar glider would be better than a pit bull. =)

The people answering this question need to take a pill for the most part in my opinion! And you know what is the norm for opinions, so bfd!
anyway if you want a dog get a puppy, at age of around 8 to 9 wks. Raise that puppy up in the way it should go and it will not deviate from it when it is old. I know lots of pitbulls and they are either sweet or sour depending on what the owner wanted them to be. But beware they are creatures of habit and once they learn a behavior they will not go back on it to a different way.
that is all of my doggie advice to you my friend. Good luck and put up all the stuff you don't want chewed into small pieces.

The only pet that could actually do you some good is a pet jellyfish. But you must remeber that once a day you must let the jellyfish sting you with its electrofying rays. Faliure to do this everday will cause a relapse in recovery. Pray to the jellyfish. From the moment you bring this creature home it will be your God.
Give it about a month or two and you will be that happiest man on earth. I Promise.

Gold fish for colour. Cheap, Don't need walking for toilet purposes.Feed once a day or so. Don't tear up the place when you're out. Don't slober or hog all the bed. Forget the pit bull or the whinny cat (I've got 4 so I know.)

OK straight up. bad rep or not, u do not need a pit bull, get something that you can't influence with drama and neg vibes. I own a pit bull and he is VERY in tune with whats around him. sorry but maybe a less time consuming or excitable animal will do the trick. if your not allowed around counselors do you really think u need a pit bull? But i hope u feel better soon

get the american breed of a pit bull>American Bull Dog,I have one, he is no 10 in human years and he has been the best dog/friend/companion ever,he has always been great with the kids since they were babies,he listens better than the kids, and he protects me from some of the kids's friends, thats how I know if they are hangin'out with undesirables(being kind),he is the most outstanding judge of character, and never has he used my home as a restroom, and he isnt neutered!! Which surprises most of my friends!!

If you're not allowed to go near a local counsellor, then I hope you can have a pet and treat it humanely. Otherwiese, please don't begin something you really don't want to deal with. There are lots of responsibilites that are attached to owning pets.

Get a chameleon for a pet. This way it can be any color your pathetic life deserves. For having such a pathetic life you have a pretty well deveolped sense of humor.

yes a pet would be nice. i question your reasoning for getting a pit bull. do you think your responsible enough to care for a dog of his breed. everyone knows the reputation they have.do you want to be responsible for your dog possibly maiming someone. also are you willing to give a lot of attention to it. dogs require lots of it. anyway, good luck and have a nice day.

I love animals! What about a cat! They are more independent!
Just curious; do you live in St. Mary's County Maryland? There are lots of nuts there too! You should move there!
