A soulmate is a mate of the soul - a partner, if you may. A spiritual love, a love undaunted by the properties bound by this world. A soulmate evolves as the soul does, of its own volition, in concert with the growth of the relationship. When you have a relationship with an actual soulmate (many, after the long absence of a mate, confuse the definition of soulmate), there are no domineering factors, for domination rules, whereas love shares. So, there is no ruling partner in the relationship; there is no need for one. Each partner has their strengths and weaknesses, so one mate compliments another.

I've got the BEST story !!!
He and I are basically the same age with the same upbringing.... same everything........except that we are 1000 miles apart.......
He marries --- I marry ---- He has SIX kids....I have none.......
He divorces --- I divorce --- He spends the next 15 years raising all of his kids...........I spend the next 15 years.......in and out of relationships........
He's almost given up on "love"........I've almost given up on "love".....
Both go onto Yahoo.........to pass the time --- and one given night I answer a question that he asks.........he likes my answer and emails me --- we hit it off........
We ARE SOUL MATES...........we are very happy .. and we plan to spend the rest of our lives together..........
(Imagine all that !!!)
Christmaso2000 -n- Damned fan !!!

"Soul mates" don't exist. You just met someone that you really really get along with. If you haven't met every single person in the world, how can call this particular person your true soul mate. For all you know, your true "soul mate" may be driving a bus in Paris or leading a herd of sheep in Finland or working on a computer in India. But you'll never know because you haven't met them. And it's funny how most "soul mates" exists in the same city, sometimes in the same neighborhood. wow, how "convenient"

I started talking to this guy, Stanley. And told my mom about it. She remembered that name, so she started asking him questions (over the internet). Things such as "what's your moms name?", "Did she used to work at Wilton Connor?" and stuff. She found out she knew him and we used to always play together as babies. We hated being seperated. We'd both start crying. Then we kind of lost connection because my mom got laid off because the company was getting smaller. So, we didn't talk for like 10 years. 2 years ago, we started talking, and we fell in love. Distance became an issue, and we stopped dating, and stopped talking. We were both heartbroken, but couldn't find anything else to do about it. So we started dating again, and said whatever to distance. We're in love. And it's beautiful. <3.

I spent 18 years is a lousy marriage, never feeling truly loved. I met a man with whom I'd been chatting... and the moment he held my hand so gently in his and gave me a tender kiss, I knew he was my soul mate. With him, I feel loved and cherished.... I feel complete. He is truly my soul mate.
