Bangs are in but I think a Jennifer Aniston cut, you know, tapered around the face, is very benefical for all face types. Especially the round. My sister had one and it looked great and her face is round. She also had a Betty Page do, bangs and bobbed and black. Looked great.
You're lucky as your face is round. Mine is almost square shaped so I have to be a little more picky. I could end up looking pretty bad, however, if you have a good hairdresser you should be okay.
