Harassment vs. Free Speech...while not in good taste and embarassing, harassment involves him going out of his way repeatedly to annoy you. Then he has to further use his actions that would deny you a job, contract, keep you from raising your family, or bar you from necessities that you can't go shopping, any or all or combination of the same plus more.
Being called a name isn't harassment. Not liking what someone says isnt' harrasment - most people here would be in jail.
As a comparison, they guys that create account names based on the women they want to get attention from and follow them all around - that's much more harassing than what you describe here.
You are however, free to respond to his comments...when you deal with the public...THAT MEANS EVERYBODY!
