"Is it a good idea to take advice from a toothbrush?" I wouldn't ask for tips on the stock market, but it's okay to let it tell you when it's time to buy a new one.

If people won't use their own brains and think about the state of their toothbrush and how non-effective one is with half the bristles missing or bent double then sure... why not.

You probably use reminders from your diary/mobile phone/computer program - so you're taking advice from them in just the same way.

You look at the clock to tell the time... are you gonna take advice from a mere clock? of course you are

The same applies for the instruments on your car... or are you gonna guess what speed you're doing... and guess when you're gonna run out of gas?

There are hundreds of these little "reminders" around for us use every day... usually its a good idea to make use of them so we can concentrate on the more important things.

A lot better idea than taking some of the advice that's crapped out around here.

yes, just look and listen. Your toothbrush will tell you when its dead. if its fading then its dying.. give it a proper funeral and go buy a new one.. So sorry for your loss.

I always replace mine every 3 months. Some will do it every 6 months. You will know when it is time to replace it.

LOL If you wait until it has faded then you waited too late.
