No Congress is a self serving group of people only out to get what they can, while they can. Interesting point Pancha politicians spend millions of dollars to be elected. Is it because they can not contain that eagerness for power and glory ??I think we need to ship them all out and start again. Whatever side your own neither side is doing what they were elected to do.

Nope, only theirs. BUT you vote for the person who represents your point of views..thats why its important to vote. If u got a representative in office that views life, morals, and gov the same as you, ur interests become his interests, and his interests are your interests.

N for ppl who dont vote and complain about the gov. if they care so much about it now, they should have voted, ppl say bush this..bush that...but they didnt vote against him so its like they have no say in what should happen because they didnt care then, and all of a sudden they decide to care.

VOTE!

No, the only things they think about are money and power. As far as the guy saying VOTE, what is the point--all the candidates are the same--they sound good then get to D.C. and forget everything they said. Besides what makes you think the voting process is legit?

I don't know of any that do at this time. They have only their own interests in mind. Bush will put his interests ahead of what is best for the whole country so that shows you how selfish he is.

No. They have the same basic motivations as anyone else. See Public Choice theory for an elaboration of this idea.

no. they have THEIR own interests in mind. money, power, office. its all about status.

the people, are nothing more than a target group which these politicians must appease in order to up their rank in office. if they could get power and money without helping anyone but themselves, then they would most definitely.

No. They don't need to have my interests in mind as much as they need to have the best long term interests of the country in mind. That would satisfy me.

no, being a politician has become a job to them and that is a shame, if they saw as being the spokesman for their area and then talked to their constituents to hear their concerns then i might think they had my interest in mind.

No, their first job is to get re-elected.

I trust them less than a felon, such as the multiple convicted Felon on three continents, indicted on the remaining two, and who just had probation extended two more years under the DOJ US case, you know as Microsoft Corporation!

So, I run GNU/Linux, that is virus free, hacker proof. http://pclinuxos.com has it, FREE, with all it's 1,600 games, apps. and suites. Think "MAC OS X, on your cheap, old, PC"! Only, with more games, more fun, more stuff!
