Your soul mate ideally would be the one you dream of when you look inside yourself and imagine what you like and would turn you on.
In real life that doesn't exist of course, since the other person's psyche gets in the way every time. But if you can live in the illusion, more power to you. In can be very rewarding. Unfortunately it gives you a far ways to fall.
I have always thought how nice it would be to meet such an individual, but when it goes bad, I would probably want to kill myself....
Been there, experienced that. Just didn't go the final step.

Yes, definitely....god makes that one special person just for you....I think instead of going out and looking for your soulmate it's better just to live your life and let that person come to you......I recently met someone but I'm not sure if he's my soulmate...sometimes only TIME can tell.....*you have to fully know who you are first in order to tell exactly who is "the one".* GOOD QUESTION

No. I believe lust and ecstasy makes you think you've find your soulmate. Thought i'd found mine years ago but realise now i was just high and fancied the pants off him.

I have been married to the same man for 20 years and for most of that time I thought he was my 'forever' soulmate.
Just recently though, I have been questioning our relationship, so now I think there is no such thing as a permanent soulmate.
Sorry if this puts a downer on it!

No! too many billions of people in the world for there to be only 1 perfect match! Humans are dynamic and will change and develop at different rates! People who think there is only one person for each of us are narrow minded and insular and scared of the big wide world!

yep...its taken 46 years but i think i've finally found mine.
we think the same way, have the same sense of humour, have experienced many of the same things,we are even the same star signs.
if he isnt my soulmate then i will never find one....this is as close as i will ever get to one.
