No, the Bible doesn't have a deadline of when it is supposed to be finished reading it. This book is our lifeguard and it is to be read and referred throughout our lives. It has no fixed rules to just finish reading it and to be put aside. You need to keep it with you for any referral or question whenever you need it. Believe me, it never ends. One ever told that the word BIBLE means : Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. That's a good one!

Try starting from the beginning with a student bible. Mine breaks it down to a science, and gives suggested reading so that in one years time, you'll have read the entire bible from cover to cover.

I am reading 365 bible NIV. It has readings for everyday but you can continue and keep on while doing bible study.. or some are reading daily bread. it is not for a year but for years and years to read..
it is our daily bread... food for our spirit ,,relation with the Lord..

I'm sure you could find instructions online. But personally I did that and I didn't get a lot out of it because of the amount I took in every day. I'm going slower right now so I can actually study it. Good luck!

jesus never recommended just reading of the bible,he directed everybody to experience HIM BY GOING WITHIN,since u must know the source from where this bible orignated ,ur heart, then better directly enter into the kingdom of ur heart, rather just reading it,which will't take u within for self discovery.

Why you would want to I don't understand but the method is easy. Turn to the back of your bible, note the final page number and divide it 365.
