I am having severe pain in my back, neck, shoulders, and sometimes other parts. I don't know if it is just anxiety/tension or if the medication is causing it.

Ofcourse child birth will be painful, just like many things we can and can't experience. However we can't measure them, really. Some painful things we can't experience without dying, and other pains we can;t experience due to it being impossible due to our biology. As for your link, I am very skeptical about it. I can't take it seriously. All we have is their word that it is "exactly" or very close to the pain of labor. To make this an accurate test, they should of put two men and two women (or just one woman) on the machine aswell. This way we could make an accurate conclusion by basing how the woman reacts, comparing it to how women in labor react to see if the compare, then comparing the woman on the machine's experience with the men on the machine's experience.
