Like to the point that you attain a realm of lights and different colors and feel like a light being wrapped in peace? Is this evil? Or, just a deeper connection to God and the heavens? I don't pray to anyone but God. Meditation helps me find answers to the things that burden my heart. When I reach that level, I feel like I am light, like pure energy. Since I am only a new Christian, do I have to stop this?

No it is not wrong. Meditating is praying, and this is what God says about prayer..

we are to meditate on the words of God-Psalm 119 vs 11 and Joshua 1 vs 8 if u do yoga and they give u a mantra-to say -its a false God so dont do that

It is not wrong.
It's just something you do in secret. You can be at peace with Him. Sometimes it takes a while to allow the problems of life empty out, but if you pray to Him and repeat the memorized verses in the scripture to Him, I think it gets easier.

Nothing wrong with meditation as long as it is to bring you closer to God and not some false god or "spirit guide"

Its wrong to be a christian. they are the real evil in this world. only a coward whould become christian because she sees demons everywhere. maybe you have mental problems. seek a doctor that has no religious affiliations.
