If you met the DEVIL and it'd make all your wishes come true in exchange for your soul, would you STILL make wishes?

Why do you choose that?

No, I would not. I can't see how it would be worth it b/c even if all the things you wished for came true, you can't take them with you after you die.

I'm into God and want to be with Him after I die. I can only imagine the peace, pearly gates and God's shining face! THAT is my wish - to enjoy eternal happiness with God.

I have been given many gifts by God - they include self respect, love, personal qualities, family/friends, etc. That's all I need to get by here on earth.

I'm not rich in money, but in God's love!

Sorry, don't mean to sound overly religious - your question IS very GOOD!!!!! I hope my answer helps!

I'd make the wishes. Of course I'd have to but some kind of parameters into a wish as to how long the Devil can have my soul...like maybe a week. Or just make a wish that I would supercede the Devil and then could own his soul....hmm....must go plot my take over of the underworld now.

I can't remember where I read it but their was a great quote from some Victorian literature that had the Devil complaining that he was going to stop dealing with humans because they were so dishonest that almost every time he made a pact with them they wriggled out of it some how.

However to answer your question; I would make the wishes as I'm agnostic, and for all I know the Devil might be a pretty good guy when you get to know him...

Assuming the Devil is real and that I can eternally lose my soul, I would have to say, "NO". "What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?" Mark 8:36 Besides you never deal with the Devil because his games would be always be rigged.

No, because I am a Christian and follow Christ. If you make a deal with the devil, you may have things on earth, but in the end on judgment day, you will be cast to hell with the devil for eternity. So why swap 50-70 years of alleged bliss for eternity of misery?

No. Nothing is worth your soul. If you choose greed over your own soul, then you most likely belong with the devil anyway.

No.

My soul is not mine. It's of my creator. I don't have the right to trade my soul.

Also, how would I enjoy my wishes without my soul?

And I know that in Paradise, I will become very happy and content...in the presence of my Lord.

I think you have to have a soul in order to sell it, so I may not be able to enter into such a contract. However, if I do have a soul, I'll sell it for a life size Chia pet. Any takers?
