Actually, there's absolutely no reason he didn't make the dinosaurs too. Everything in its time. Also, we've found out that the Wolly Mammoths died out just a little over 5,000 years ago, so what else don't we know. The fact is, it just doesn't matter. We need to worry about the here and now. The past has already sorted itself out.

We have no idea how "long" the creative days were, they could have been "24,000 years each or 24,000,0000 or even longer" just not important. No reason God could not have used evolution either, the Bible doesn't say "Oh, God didn't work that way." So, until HE tells us otherwise, lets just leave that possibility open.

Check out the book of Job in the Bible, I believe chapter 41, there is what appears to be a description of a dinosaur in the context. I am a Christian and I believe that dino's did walk the earth while humans occupied the earth as well.

The account of creation in Genesis states that "the earth was without form; and void" It is my understanding that the word "was" in the Greek actually reads "became" and would therefore suggest that the world may have been at one time as we know it today. In this eventuality it comes clear that the earth was destroyed and then renewed by the Lord which would account for the Dinosaurs remains being several million years old. In any event, you will have the opportunity to ask the Lord when you stand face to face with him in Judgment

The Book of Job mentions 2 different creatures that sound very much like dinosaurs.

dinosaurs were created to help with the dishes, the laundry and as a stand in for a vehicle in a tough spot. i suggest you check out the holy records of "Flintstones" and the great words of Fred, Barney, Wilma, and Betty....till then, i like your idea that "good" created earth. i think you may be on to something.

I've been told by many theists that Satan put the dinosaur fossils in the earth to trick us... You can't write comedy like that.
