I fly Emirates frequently, and yes they do serve alcohol, all which is complimentary, except for Champagne and Champagne based cocktails.

Their alcohol selection on board is amongst the best - you do not even have to wait for the drinks trolley to come round, you can ask for an alcohol drink anytime. Without fail, your meals will be served with an offer of wine in addition.

And all that is just for Economy class !!!

Fly Business Class and even the Champagne is free then !!

To find out about all on-board services that Emirates offer, go to www.skywards.com
Click 'Join Now' - it is free and they will e-mail you a Skywards registration No. that allows you access to the website more in detail - find out what meals they serve, reserve your favourite drink on board etc - good fun !

Hope this is of benefit to you !

I Fly Emirates frequently - they serve alcohol, many airlines don't. If you are going into Dubai/UAE buy alcohol in the duty free when you arrive before customs - you can't buy it in Dubai without a permit except in hotel bars and restaurants. There is supposed to be a limit on the amount you can take in but I have never been stopped.

yes, i flew with emirates from the uk to brisbane, aus. they serve free soft drinks. (i'm not sure if the alcohol is free as i didn't order any) but there was a guy sitting near me who got rather drunk and tried to wander to the toilet at the exact moment we were about to land, despite all the stewardesses protests and the seatbelt signs. so they definitely serve alcohol. as an aside, they're also the best airline i've ever flown with.
