Sin is sin. Do you think that those who molest kids will get away with it? Eventually, they get caught. Now, how about you? Do you think that you'll get away with the sin you participate in? To God it doesn't matter which sin it may be.

ok being born and raised (not practicing now) catholic i feel i need to say something.........F U...............if you go online guaranteed you will find that this crap goes on in more then just catholicism.people just love jumping all over catholics because they dont understand our religion.and i do tend to take it personal from these attacks bc my mother and grandmothers and 80% of the rest of my family are catholic also and they're all great people and anyone of them would just assume not answer this ? due to the fact that your an ignorant *** for judging a group of ppl from a few dumbasses mistakes.
no its not right what those priest did at all.they should be thrown in prison and be gang raped for the rest of their life but that doesnt mean that you should lump all catholics or preists together .if you look up religions im sure youll find some that actually do practice child molestation as a part of their religion.

I'm surprised that you actually believe your own BS. Of course Jesus and anybody that isn't trying to be a smart as s would not agree with molestation. We are all Gods Representatives, but we do what we want to do. We as you know do not all have extreme will power. Some people are very weak in the will power dpt. and do awful things like molest children. That's aw full!!

Actually, many of the "molesters" that have been "outed" in the Catholic priesthood have turned out to be neither "Catholic" nor even "Christian", most are infiltrators who have weaseled their way into the Catholic priesthood ONLY for the purpose of preying on young children. The most common "religion" of these scum is most often Atheist-Materialism.
I have advised the Church on more than one occasion that trying to cover up for these twisted criminals is a big mistake. Excommunication and turn them over to civil authorities is the only intelligent course of action.
You can see for yourselves from the responses how unsuccessful it has been for the Church to try and handle this problem from within.
Although not a Christian myself, it is well to remember the words of Jesus about children.....

Molestation is wrong,but you can't condemn an entire religion because of some bad people in it. Yes,the Pope was involved in covering up past indiscretions,but it was done so people wouldn't turn away en-masse from religion.You can't let a few bad apples spoil it for everyone.The various priests involved will have their judgement day.It's not going to help by putting down an entire faith,so please don't. The fault in your argument is, that Catholics do not accept child molesting, it is not a teaching and parishioners was the molesters prosecuted too. This would only make sense if Catholicism taught it was ok.

catholics are perfect dont you know lol.. i knew a guy he was verrry catholic when i asked him about all the priests molesting kids he got angry and said there are no more child molesters in the catholic church than there are in the rest of society its all relative, he said media made a big deal of it... then i said well even if thats true shouldnt they be less likely to molest since their held to a higher standard.. he just got more mad lol..
