My cats have all had a very serious upper respiratory infection. They coughed and sneezed, their eyes and noses were runny. We had to take them to the vet and give them antibiotics.
Now...they often go for about a week sneezing with a runny nose. The vet tells me that they are just prone to colds now. It usually clears up on it's own. If your cat is not better in a week you need to take it to the vet.

It sounds like your cat may have allergies, and that's not anything serious. It may just be that time of the year for your cat especially if your cat is fine every other time of the year? Otherwise, if the cat continues with sneezing and runny nose, take your cat's temperature. Yep, a rectal thermometer, just like you would do with a baby, and see what it is. If it is past 100 degrees, that's a sign your cat may have an upper respiratory infection and you need to get him/her to the vet. for antibiotics!!! It's not serious, but if left alone, the cat may develop pneumonia, etc so be safe, if it continues and have him/her checked at the vet!! Good luck!

My cat used to do that alot, even after we got her fully vacinated, the vet was concerned so he ran some tests and found nothing wrong with her. Now she doesn't do it at all, so I'd say make sure and have the vet check the cat out but more than likely it's allergies and will go away when the seasons change.

She may have an allergy to something in your home. It could be the type of litter you use even. You should take your kitty to your Vet and have him check your cat to determine whether it's something serious or not. He may be-able to prescribe something for the sneezing if it is allergy related.

She could be allergic to something, pets also suffer from allergies. You need to call a vet as soon as possible to make sure it's nothing serious.
