Well, if we look at the prayers of the Muslims (this and the family sedan are about all they have to hold off our invasion), I would say prayer has quite a bit of effect on our world. Look at all the disasters the U.S. is experiencing. I feel this is a direct response from our God and their Allah, telling us that we should have never invaded an unarmed country.

I know they used to have WMD's. Shoot, Ollie North and the Reagan administration gave the darned things to them. But like the net said, the photos we tried to use as evidence to declare war on Iraq were old photos from the eighties and those WMD's were long gone (just like Sadaam said) before we started demanding that he give them back to us.

So we've killed over 100,000 civilians based on a lie. America receives more disasters than ever before in history. I think the prayers are being answered.. the prayers being said by the survivors of our carnage.

Your English is cute. Seen some of your other questions...

You must be Japanese.

I think prayers can and do affect the world.

In whatever form, a prayer is an expression of love and energy directed somewhere and the world and all its beings consciously or not are affected, I am convinced of it.

Keep praying pretty little girl, it's all good.

Lots and lots are required to affect this world!!! There's not enough prayers going around. We need more selfless people who will pray for others and this world so that it will become a better place.

The person that prays is the person that gets the most good from it. It gives him/her a feeling of doing something in a world of helplessness.I am not a believer... but whatever helps you deal with your own fears is whats best .....

Prayer might affect your thoughts and your actions, and you can not do anything better to the world than acting positively yourself.

In fact, I don't believe that prayer is heard by any kind of anybody outside the own body.

Jesus said that if you were to have the faith of a mustard seed you could say to this mountain to be cast into the sea and it will.
What so many have misunderstood is that prayer is to coincide with God's will, if you are walking with God you are in His will and through His guidance you'll see were faith and prayer will need to be applied.
God's not just a big gift shop for requests, it's a walk of faith.
