I wear mine on the left hand because that is what has always been the custom in the United States. In some countries like Norway and Germany it is customary to wear the ring on the right hand.

Always the left hand :) Although I have heard that some married women will wear them on the right hand if there is trouble in the marriage or their spouse has passed away..

I know the majority of women wear it on their left hand, but I wear it on my right. My husband asked me if I would do this well in advance of the wedding. It is a custom/tradition of his cultural heritage to do this (Slavic - Europe). Then, when I talked to my mom, turns out when she was married, the ring was put on her right hand (Slavic tradition, too, but in this country). She later changed over to her left hand, since the majority of people do this. Now, I find that people look and think I'm not married, or that I'm divorced, since the rings are on the "wrong" hand. But it does feel nice that I did this to please my husband, and when we're around people of his homeland, we all have the rings on our right hands!

The left hand. It was believed that a vein in the forth finger went straight to the heart. Therefore when you where your ring there is was said to be closest to you heart. You wear the wedding band first (closest to your hand) and then the engagement ring.

The wedding ring goes on the left hand. Your heart is on your left side, therefore, the ring gets worn on the hand closest to your heart.

On the left hand. I've never heard of anyone wearing it on the right hand unless they don't have a left arm or any fingers.

I am not married but you always wear it on the left no matter what. I've never even heard of someone wearing it on the right side.

It all depends. Everyone all over the world wears it differently. Some women wear it on their left, and some on their right.
