I'd get her something adult. Not nasty adult, I mean something an adult person has as she's just coming to the age where she wants to be more adult. Maybe some jewelry or something along that line. Tweleve is a tough age for girls, they're caught between being a child and being an adult. Get her something nice that will make her feel better about herself and also something that she can have that makes her smile when she remembers getting it from you.

A new sister who doesn't call her names. If you want to do something nice for her, get her a gift certificate from Best Buy or similar business...then she can pick out what she likes and it will be appreciated. Accept her for who she is...she is only 12 and still developing as a person...you aren't helping her by thinking of her in this way.

That's not a nice thing to say about your sister.
I would get her a gift certificate from her favorite clothing store, or get her movie tickets. You could also get her nail polish and lip gloss from Claire's.
