You're not going to remember anything after you wake up, and your mouth is going to be all numbed. You are also going to have stitches where the dentist took out your wisdom teeth. It really isn't bad, and it wont hurt at all because you really won't feel anything from the numb shot. You're just going to be really tired from the stuff the dentist uses to knock you out. I was 16 when I got mine taken out, and I stayed in bed for a few good days because the painkillers really made me weak. I am a really petite person though. I have a few friends who got their wisdom teeth taken out around the same time as I got mine out, and they were running all over the place doing everything. Remeber to take the antibiotics that the dentist gives you. Don't eat anything that you have to chew. I lived on Jello and chicken soup for a week. It's hard to keep the stitches clean because it's in your mouth, so rinse your mouth after you eat to keep it from getting infected and it'll heal faster. It's a good time for you to have to yourself. Watch TV, be lazy, have friends over to keep you company. Also, remember to go see your dentist to get an appointment to get those stitches out! I promise that it's not as bad as most people make it sound. Good luck whenever you get it taken out!!

Grogginess and moderate pain. Some bleeding of your removed tooth at your gum, swelling, and perhaps some brusing of your face where the wisdom teeth got pulled. Medicine with help the pain. Sleep as much as you can while you heal. Stay away from hot and cold foods, luke warm will be easier. Keep your mouth as clean as possible. And you will feel better in about 5-7 days.

I just got all four of mine pulled a week ago. You're lucky you only have one. It's really weird. They start knocking you out, and then all of a sudden, you wake up. I woke up crying, and my mouth was stuffed with a bunch of gauze, worst cotton-mouth of my life. The first couple days suck, cuz you can't really eat too much of anything, and it does hurt, but you're only getting one pulled, so that's a lot better. You'll be fine. I was really scared cuz I never had any sort of surgery before. They said that's why I cried when I woke up. I was glad my mom was with. But they'll most likely give you painkillers, which will make you feel kinda spacey for a few days. Just chill for awhile after you get it out.

I've had 'em out.
A little woozy for a few hours. Some drainage from holes: rinse out mouth with salt water. Holes may have to be packed with gauze for a while. Keep food out -
rinse. Some soreness, not real bad. Heal some in 2 days, most in a week. In a month it is completely forgotten, unless you talk about it.
Nothing to really worry about. It is a common proceedure, and only needs doing once.
Feel better?

I had 4 out when I was 18 . You feel a bit groggy but there was very little pain, a bit of swelling in the face but a couple of days of warm soup and drinks and you'll be eating fine.Mine gave me no trouble at all
