To convert individual images:

1. Open the image in Paint.
2. Click File > Save As
3. In the Save as type drop-down list, select jpeg.
4. Click OK.

To convert several images simultaneously:

1. Download Irfanview from http://www.irfanview.com/ and install. It's freeware.
2. Put all the images in a single folder.
3. In Irfanview, open one of the desired images.
4. Click File > Batch Conversion.
5. Click Add All.
6. In the Output format drop-down list, select jpeg.
7. Click Start.

I use Graphic Workshop. This program has been around for a long time, and the current version is extremely powerful.

Just use your paint program.

Go to START then PROGRAMS, then ACCESSORIES. There is a paint program. Open your image using Paint and then go to FILE and SAVE AS and then save it again but make sure your SAVE TYPE AS in the dropdown box is set to JPG.
