Hmmmmmm. Ive read through the answers!!!!!!! Sorry Brits but there are many loud mouthed Brits in Cyprus, Malta and other Mediterranean countries when they are on holiday and everyone shies away from them so we are no better than the Americans that come over here and do the same thing. The Americans in the USA do not behave in this way. It is the difference between upper and lower class upbringing. No matter where you come from the loud mouthed always come from the lower strata of life. The British have impeccable manners most of the time but are mostly introverts when it comes to meeting strangers. The Americans are more friendly and are willing to call you over for dinners when they dont know you so well. They are also helpful and well mannered (apart from the NY cab driver!!!) The accents also depends on which part of America they come from as is the same in the UK. The London accent is beautiful when English is spoken properly but then go to places like Somerset or to parts of Scotland and you will be lucky if you can understand one word.

The English guy treats a lady as a person and not an object.
The English also try to help other countries while the Americans want to bully them.

Seriously, I think men are basically the same wherever they're from.
They all want the same thing, all moan when they don't get it, all ignore it when they could have it, all want it to be different once they've got it, and all end up losing it!

both speak perfect english....but the difference is, english guys have sexy accents while american guys.... just so and so.
