You need to understand that your parents are not changing it is you. Your parents are trying to control you which at the age of 14 you just don't notice that you are getting harder and harder to keep in control. I understand that you feel you are or should be in full control but after a few more years you will be thinking back and be embarsed over a lot of the things you do now. You will be embarsed because you thought you knew so much more then you really do.
Older people have already been there and done that and knows what can happen if it is left uncontrolled. I know that I watch the new kids being hired in at the plant where I work and I can laugh at them because they are finding out how much the have to learn about life. Party till 3 AM and try to be at work at 6 AM. They normally get fired because they have not learned yet that the job pays for that new car they are driving and buys that beer they are drinking and pays the rent. Freinds will not pay your rent and buy your food and smokes and on and on. Yes they are needed but you will one day learn to respect each other and pull your own load.
I think one of the guys above said at your age you are not far sited enough. Remember there is more to life then freinds. Freinds will hurt you more then help. Respect your self and take care of you oryou will neve be able to take care of someone else.

Working and marriage at the same time are much harder, but social pressures at you age are magnified by you shortsighted scope. You should probably have a nice clean relationship with your bestfriend, if it stresses you out then its not right, at least not for a few years.

you've made it that way. you're over-booked and need to clear out some of the negatives in your life.As for your parents over-working you-as a part of the house-you are responsible for parts...I tell my kids that when they buy the grocerys I'll carry them in. when they start making dinner-I'll do the dishes. honestly you should talk to your parents about giving chores to the girl-it builds character and stops kids from being bums

Hey, every guy go's thru this, it's normal. Just make it a game, do all the stuff like taking out the trash, before they ever ask, pick up all your clothes and wash them yourself. Make it a habit of doing it before they ask. Walk up and ask your sister if she would please help by doing the dishes, before your mom asked her too, then their will be no pressure on either of you.

take it from a parent....the are only trying to teach you responsibility....and in that process, teach you how to take care of yourself....in 4 years, you will be able to leave home, and when you do, they want you ready for the outside world......you think it is hard doing these things....wait until there are bills, work, social life, and stupid things that you will do {that is normal}.....this part isn't nearly as hard as you think....take it in stride, learn, and you will be much better off in life in the future

YOU MIGHT NEED TO LET YOUR PARENTS KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. IT MAY HELP AND IT MAY NOT BUT I TRUELY UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FEEL. WHEN I WAS 14 I HAD TO GET A JOB. YOU NEED TO MAKE TIME FOR YOUR FRIENDS. DON'T LET YOUR FAMILY GET IN THE WAY BECAUSE IN THE END THEY WILL HAVE FRIENDS TO LEAN ON AND YOU WON'T HAVE ANY. DON'T DISCARD THEM. YOU MIGHT NOT NEED THEM NOW BUT IN THE END YOU WILL NEED AT LEAST ONE FRIEND. START TALKING UP FOR YOURSELF OR PEOPLE WILL CONTINUE TO WALK OVER YOU. PRAY AND KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!!!!
