The Hippocratic Oath is an oath traditionally taken by physicians pertaining to the ethical practice of medicine. Although mostly of historical and traditional value, the oath is considered a rite of passage for practitioners of medicine.

veterinarians do not take the oath since the oath pertains to the healing and care of humans only.

No that is just Md's and they swear a highly modified form of it. For example they no longer promise to teach their professors kids medicine for free.

Not that I believe, but, they do have an oath they do have to swear.
