Going out with some friends and having a few drinks....well I see nothing wrong with that at all...you obviously don't drink all the time...she should relax and let you enjoy yourself...She needs to not get mad at the little things in life...hopefully when you see her tomorrow she will realize and avoid an argument!

First and formost...IF your girlfriend starts slapping, hitting, punching, throwing things at you, and berate you(especially in public)... THIS IS ABUSE! IT IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE! The man will NOT be able to call police due to the stereo-types, and chances are the man will be arrested anyways(the victim). This happends way too much.
But many of men just take it. Because societal belief is "women are harmless", and if it hurts the man, well then he must be a "whimp". Men are "suppose to just take it and laugh or let it roll off his back". ***As for the man? Do NOT hit back, I repeat...Do NOT hit back!!!*** IF YOU DO? YOU will receive recourse even if it IS self defense! All that the man can do in an abusive enviornment? IS to GET OUT or away from HIS ABUSER! DO NOT think "I have to be macho because Im the guy" YOU think that way? YOU WILL LOSE! THERE ARE NO LAWS THAT PROTECT MEN!!
IF your girlfriend can speak to you in a civil manner, then yes, talk to her(this is a must). Women can and will get upset over the smallest things. Which could be anything she decides to construe. I believe that this sort of thing is her "manipulation". However, communication is the key. IF there is going to be a relationship? Communication is a MUST. BE HONEST!(this applies to BOTH!)
IF...IF tables were turned, and the girlfriend did this? She would automatically expect her boyfriend to understand. Or she might say "Im sorry". Though after her apology, she will think he must accept or it is he who has the problem. But if HE were to yell or be angery at her? SHE CAN CALL THAT ABUSE! HE WILL QUITE POSSIBLY BE ARRESTED.

do the puppy dog face. tell her the truth and that you didn't mean to drink. it just happened all so quick that you said yhu didn't drink and the next, you find yhurself in a bar drunk! oh yeah! also get her a little something. a necklace, watch,or bracelet woud be nice.
so you go over to her house tommorrow. if she askes you about what yhu did last night. tell her what you did while donig the puppy dog face. say yhu are really sorry. then present her the gift to say yhu are sorry.
hope this helps. GOOD LUCKK! ;DD

Tell her the truth! Nothing worse than lying about things when your significant other already thinks your a lyer. Just makes things way worse. You may just need to give her a couple days to calm down before you approach the subject, as well.

You better be straight up with her because if she finds out otherwise from someone else then your going to cause even more drama between yall. Just tell her what u did and if she is still mad jus except it and try not to make that mistake again by lying to her.

Tell her it's been a long time since you had a drink, and felt the need for a relaxer. SInce it's been soo long since you've drank, you must have misjudged your limits. Tell her you called her because you felt guilty over just the little bit you had.

Say nothing and let her bring it up. Once it is brought up, stand your ground and say "What of it?" I can have a drink if I want.
You start showing weakness now, she will always want to control you.
