Take it from me - I moved from Georgia to Florida. You do not want to live here. Too many rude/weird people, horrendous traffic (far worse than Atlanta's), a lot of crime (ever notice the amount of sex crimes committed here?), the beaches are crowded and filled with human trash, and the weather in the summer is horrible (rains every day, horrible humidity, bugs).
Can't wait to move back to GA...or maybe NC.

I am from Fla. born and raised there. I t is nice , but really growing. I have been in NC for the last 29 yrs. Husband from here. I love the seasons and country up here. Never move bk to Fla. , even those he passed away 3 years ago. Depends what you are looking for. Pem

South Carolina, Beaufort is an hour from Savanna GA, Jacksonville FL, and Charlston SC. cheap living, low crime, and an hour from three big party towns....perfect.
