I had a dog hair get stuck once inside the skin on the top of my foot where the skin is very thin.
Your hair must be super stiff or something... Maybe your skin is super sensitive.
I am very suprised that it bled though.
You may want to see someone about that.
It is a bit extreme.

I think hair is able to go thru the skin like a needle, but don't think it should bleed.

I had a hair got stuck like a splinter in my finger but not to the point where it bled. Unless you have a combination of fine wire hair and delicate skin then its possible I suppose.

believe. maybe your skin is like elderly skin. paper thin skin...so thin that hair (your hair is not those fine ones, and thats for sure) can go through it and cause it to bleed...

possibly, if it was a root instead of the actually hair. whiskers off of animals can stick you but its the root, not the end of the hair follicle.

Which hair and where?
There is an ingrown hair sometimes.
If a hair offends you, Pluck it out.
