ugh... he might not be back for another hour.
do you think holding it will cause any physical harm? i feel like my *** is about to explode all over the inside of my camouflage pants.

Getting in the habit of holding your urine may be bad for the prostate in men as some doctors suggest.But I hardly think I will have helped you by the time you get this.If you have to go #2 this could possibly lead to a compacted stool.You get medical help in the military so speak to your doctor because I'm not one so I can only make suggestions.

Holding it for an hour will do nothing. Really the only thing that hurts you from holding it is if it goes on for over 10 hours or so.
As for you not being able to leave your post. If you have such an important military job, why are you on Yahoo! Answers?

I don't think you'd be manning a post in the military and using the internet at the same time. Just go take care of the business you need to take care, and make sure you WASH YOUR HANDS afterwards.

Use depends. Have your parents, spouse or otherwise life partner send them to you. Or... use a cathiter (sp?!?). Or complain to your supervisor and the rest of your Chain or Command. Yes, holding it for long periods of time can cause internal rashes.

If you hold it too long, it can cause harm. Women used to hold it because it was "unladylike" to ask to be excused to go to the bathroom...people have died from their bladders bursting. Find someone to man your post and go.
