if you really want one, and will make you happy then go for it...i was dating my bf since i was in 7th grade, i'm a junior in high school now, but we just recently broke up....but if you find someone you really like than it's fine, who knows it might turn into love....

Well, your only 11, and that is to young to actually have a boyfriend. You should start out by first having friends that are guys not your boyfriends, then after a few years. Like possibly when your in high school, you should have a boyfriend. When ever you think your ready but not at the age of 11, that is way to young. So try to have a friend that is your guy first, and you might actually like him, maybe like a boyfriend and soon you can go out, because you actually know him.

NO you should not have a boy friend. Just get to know people. It is okay to have real good friends but at you age you should not have a boyfriend. There are so many feelings and so much hurt when you start dating and you should not try to have that experience yet. Trust me!!!!!!!!!!!! That kind of hurt does not go away easy. Please just wait for a few more years. You will find relationship much more enjoyable then.

Have you considered what a boyfriend means?
When your friends are out having fun, you can not, because your boyfriend wants to be with you.
When the other girls are having a party, you'll have to say "no thanks" because your boyfriend doesn't like all the other girls.
And if you talk to another nice boy , your jealous boyfriend will ruin your day!
No, no. Have fun with all your friends and if you like someone a little extra, give him an extra smile, but don't commit yourself for at least 5 or 6 years!

And plus, I'm going in the sixth grade too! and Im also 11 years old!
But you shouldn't worrie about that!

No, girl there will be too many guys out there for you. you are 11 years old i don't think you are ready. besides, if you are not going to marry them then why bother?! you know that is the whole point of dating right>? well since you KNOW you are not going to marry him then dont bother because it will cause uneccessary pain and stress, that should not be experianced by someone of your age group. maybe when you are in high school or in college. even if you are not going actually "out" , u should still be careful hon.

ur a little young and u probably won't have a steady boyfriend but if a really cute boy asks u out then u should say YES!!!! but at this time u need to focus more on ur studies and friends rather then boyz so GOOD LUCK!
