Hi sky.....I have dealt with death and I work with teens who have lost someone special through death. Its not easy, but those who talk about their feelings with someone they trust learn to deal with their problems better than those who want to run from their problems. Is there someone special you can talk to? Are you dealing with a disease of a loved one or is this a personal condition? Whatever, do NOT try to deal with your crisis alone.

I have dealt with the loss of family members and close friends. It's always a hard thing to get through. Keep in touch with your own family and friends, believe me it helps !
As far as diseases, I have several things wrong with me. It all started after a horse riding accident, when I broke my back and was told I would never walk again. But, after lots of physical therapy, I AM walking! Don't believe everything doctors tell you !
One thing has led to another, and currently I am on 10 different meds a day. I had to make out a schedule for myself, and I take everything as I am supposed to. That's really about all you can do.Try to stay as busy as possible, that helps.
My mom is also a breast cancer survivor of 7 years. She had to have radical surgery. ( complete removal of one breast ). But she us the spunkiest woman I've ever known today! She realizes how close she came, and is nothing less than so very grateful that she is here today.
I also have a brother in law that has had two brain surgeries already, and has developed three more inoperable tumors. That is a day by day thing. All we can do is be there for him and my sister with all the moral support we can give.
The thing is, you have to take life as it comes. Know that God has a plan for all of us, whether we agree with Him or not, it's always for the best

Yes I have. I can only say a strong spiritual life will help, rely on God and he will get you through it. Find that light inside yourself, its there and listen with your heart. You will feel a wonderful sense of peace. Pray and ask for help.

Most of us has at one time or another. God and prayer are the answer. God will be there to help you in a crisis but you're going to have to let him know you want and need his help.
