If I'm trying to follow my intuition, what should my actions be?

We met online two weeks ago and talked every night for hours, and met in real life last Sunday. That night he asked me out again and bought tickets for us to a concert in August. We set up a date for Thursday, but I had a situation come up and had to cancel. Since then, and it seems like since Sunday, he talks to me a lot less and doesn't seem to be pursuing setting up an interim date. My intuition therefore says he's not that into me, or maybe he has a lot of other dates, I don't know. Things like this don't normally bother me and I would just let him stop talking to me without a word, but because of this future date set up I'm wondering if I should somehow ask what is up. Do I do that? Or am I overreacting?

If your intuition is that he is "just not that into you" then he isn't. Leave it; don't stew about it. If he wants you to be part of his life, then he will pick up the communication pattern you two had. If he wants to cool his jets, then he won't. There is nothing, nothing, nothing you can do about it. You can, if you want, set up another "interim" date instead of waiting for him to do it. If he takes you up on it, then your gut level feeling may change. If he doesn't, then you have your answer.

seems like he's busy gettin' busy....but never know for sure, give him a call, see if your'e still on for your date...
