Health content in boiled ribs. Low fat conscious eater seeking info on par boiling ribs. How much fat remains?

More then enough left for taste. Thats the way I start cooking ribs.

It is difficult to tell you how much fat is left in your ribs since each cut is going to be different, but as you already have found, most of the excess fat comes out during the par-boiling process (which is why you do it) and you lose a lot more during the grilling or baking process. In reality - ribs prepared this way is not very fatty.

If you are worried about fat content , you better leave them ribs alone. If you par boil them they will turn out tough. they will be better if you just cook them over a low heat for 4 or 5 hours.
