She doesn't want to move here to the states but thinks I should just drop everything and move to her small *** town in Newfoundland Canada where I'll be completely cut off from anyone remotely like me. any helpful thoughts or ideas because I'm seriously thinking about calling it quits over this.

I'm kinda at a loss on this one because I'm seriously thinking about walking away because of her lack of willingness to compromise on the subject. HELP!!!

Stop and think twice, and more, about this relationship.
The "where will we live" issue will never be totally resolved ... and, it's not so easy as just picking up and moving, either. One of you will have to immigrate, and go through the entire immigration process, which takes both time and money.

Be sure you are compatible and well-matched and ready to do anything ... I mean ANYTHING ... to be together, before continuing in this relationship.

Good Luck.

If you have this attitude then please don't move. You would make everyone miserable. I don't think you two have a future. She is a simple small town girl that lacks the confidence to leave. You are an asshole that calls her home town "bumfuck". Walk away, find a biker chick that can slap that smart mouth off you. I think I would like to be in a place with no one remotely like you.

You are both expecting a huge sacrifice from the other. Is there a compromise. Can start a life together somewhere in the middle. If you can't work out a solution that will make both of you happy, then you should walk away.

If you want her to compromise you have to compromise too.

What's your suggestion to her as a compromise for both of you?

BTW, you both knew where the other lived when youstarted this so you must have known this was going to be an issue if the rel'p progressed.

It's not an easy one to resolve. I guess it depends on how much you love eachother. Do you want to be with eachother more than you care where you live?

I wouldn't move to the middle of nowhere....would be bored to tears. If she cares for you, she should move.
