I have heard all the arguments of the pro-criminal supporters.....they're human beings too...they're only trying to make a better life for themselves, they sweat and break their backs working hard...(and my favorite)....they work for less wage doing s*** jobs that the rest of us won't do. My logical brain is hearing...slave labor is cool, let's use these people to do our dirty work, throw some chump change at them and do it in the name of compassion/god.
For real? Let's USE them, work them hard and sweaty and at the end of the day our crops will be at market and it will have cost us next to nothing. We'll get away with it by fooling them into believing that America respects them because they are hard working humans just trying to do better for themselves. Use them, abuse them and play them for fools, let them be our slaves, they volunteered afterall. Never mind they are criminals, turn them into slaves of America!!!! Forget about liberty and justice, slavery is the better choice.

Pro-illegals...is this really what you want? A Nation of slavery!
I understand that it is legal to use convicted criminals as slaves and I agree with this law. However, these criminals haven't been convicted of anything. Therefore it remains a violation of American law to use them as such. (Innocent until proven guilty, right) So then what....now we're a Nation of ILLEGAL slavery. Toss them a bone and the slaves will come? It can't be justified either way you look at it.

It's not that we condone the low pay,or demeaning work,it's that they do it. I'll admit that there are some not working like this but those that do are doing it (at least the ones I know) are doing it so they can eventually get the money together to file the legal way. I don't agree with the slave type labor they are being given or the treatment,I understand why they do it. There are criminal elements and nothing is perfect. But get that many Americans in a condensed area and you will see same effect. It's not only their fault they don't assimilate Americans are suspicious by nature we also send the message YOU are different.

Great idea! It sounds tempting, but in reality this is what I would like to see.

We need to secure our Southern border, not just token points of security being shown to us on the news. No more illegals walking accross our borders.

As far as the illegals already here, we should give them the opportunity to stay, but they have to earn it.

I would like to see a CONDITIONAL amnesty given to all the illegals here now. (Assuming we are stopping more from coming in). The conditions ...

They must learn basic English.
They must learn some American history and culture.
They must be financially dependent, i.e., either employed or have a financial sponsor.
They must swear their allegiance to America and be signed up for the draft. (Within the draft eligibility guidelines)
They will have a FELONY conviction on their records so they can never posses a gun or vote, even if they become citizens.

They must do this within a time frame, such as 1 year. If they don't, or at least show effort after the time frame, they will be deported.

This will only work if we protect our borders. If we keep allowing them in, it's just a waste of time!

I assume that either you aren't a real American or that you have never read or understood your country's Constitution. The 13th Amendment of the U.S.Constitution makes "general" slavery illegal, but makes a specific exception for those actually convicted of breaking the law of the land. Post-conviction, as part of the sentencing phase, it is already completely legal to make slaves of convicts. (I think this is a great idea, by the way).

This is how & why "chain-gangs" are still a legal option as punishment for crime.

Now why are the roads still in such terrible shape?

Any fool that says we need illegals needs to take a look out
side their bubble, because we don't need them. To say we need them is the same as saying we need sweat shops and forced prostitution.

Do we really need indentured servants? Is that what the libs are
saying? Are they saying that we need to not bother about worrying about ghettos in our towns? Well, as long as they are not in their towns' right? Some cities are passing resolutions to be safe havens for illegals. I cannot wait for the floods of people to hit them up. Good thing about these bleeding hearts, all fine and good when someone else is being inconvenienced, but when it's their turn to put out by the town turning into a barrio they will sing a new tune. Ask San Bernidino.

Either people don't bother to read the WHOLE question and details or they are just to lazy and can't do any research either.

Unless they are a convicted felon slave labor is ILLEGAL.Just as ILLEGAL as these ILLEGAL immigrants sneaking in here like the common thieves they are.
And while I have no problem with the using them since they came here I say use them to build our wall, electrify it and top it with razor wire and make sure they aren't on our side of that fence when it is done.
Gokart said it well.
If they are such hard workers why aren't they working to fix thier own country? Why aren't they protesting in THEIR country. Why here?
Oh yeah, free healthcare, foodstamps, housing great pay,no taxes.free education for all of them.
What is the downside? For them nothing.

You are correct. Slave labor is what the pro illegal supporters are supporting. They also bring up that fact that they clean toilets and pick produce and we will starve to death without them. Corporations and employers of illegal immigrants are competing with the industrialized world and need to cut costs. A couple of ways is to cut health care benefits and wages to increase their profits. Our government supports them, if they get amnesty and the USA becomes a third world sh*thole, well I hope some of you are fortunate enough to be in the top half of the division between rich and poor.

...Are you an idiot? That's against the Constitution as well...only on one condition...

Amendment XIII
(1865)
Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

However.. it wouldn't happen anyway.

No one is going to pay for 70 million trials just to simply convict 70 million illegals.

And if they did... the court expenses would come out of our pockets...

No...sweetheart.. that is not an answer.

Not only is it a demeaning life for the illegal worker, it DOES cost us MUCH more in taxes than is offset by the low cost of produce. If they were given amnesty our taxes would actually go UP!! If they stay they are keeping our wages down. If we deport them we would no longer be paying their way through our taxes. In the long run, deportation is best.

IT CAN BE DONE!! Dwight D. Eisenhower did it with fewer patrols, we can do it, too.

So you are saying that if we accept the pro-criminal excuses to keep them here then it is ok to USE these people as slave labor, give them a couple of pennies and let them stay right here, that will make it ok and acceptable, OOPS SORRY, YOU DIDN’T SAY THAT, THE PRO-CRIMINALS ARE SAYING IT EVERY DAY.

PRO-CRIMINALS ENDORSE LAWLESSNESS AND SLAVE LABOR, THEY ARE TRAITORS TO THEIR COUNTRY AND HUMANITY.

I bet that the pro-criminals are the first to protest when some company gets busted for utilizing slave labor to maximize profits, then they endorse it by supporting illegals.

Yes the exact wording used to support illegal aliens is the same words used before the civil war to support slavery.

who else will do this work,

we can't afford to keep working without them

It will destroy our economy and so on.

( also same excuses used to keep min wage low and have a form of ecomonic slavery today.
