For example, I had sex yesterday and my boyfriend ejaculated in me. I have a doctors appointment with my OB/GYN tomorrow and I have to take a urine sample. So I was wondering if it would show up in the urine sample.

No, the sperm doesn't get into the urethra or bladder. If it was RIGHT before you went, I suppose some would leak out when you get your sample, but.
However, ifthey do a pelvic exam and take a swab, they will show up on the slide - I've seen them.

It would depend on how soon after sex you went to the Dr. to give the urine sample. If its an hour later then yes the next day no. However unless they look at it under a microscope they won't see them anyway.

If you are having "oral" sex there is a small chance a few sperm might make it all the way to the sample , it seems unlikely. And if you are oozing from recently being "topped off " right before your exam than sure....but I doubt the doctor would taste it ...anyway why would he care , unless he is your boyfriend or lover or something?

I dont think so, so far that I am concern Sperm is being release within your cervics, while urine come from you uterus, completely different area, as long as you 'wash your Vagina area properly' lol, the semen should be completely vanish, anyway, sperm can only live in 'there' for approximately 3 days, okay.. hope thats help. cheers,,

Well, I don't know about urine, but on know on pap smear slides they do. I guess it would be possible though. Don't worry, the doctor already knows you've been having sex. It's okay.

doctors do not have a simple (bedside) dipstick test to test for sperm ... or if they do, they often do not use it

If they send your urine sample to the lab, the LAB might detect it, because they look at it in a microscope

no they don't test you for sperm content..They check for blood in the urine and protein.
