Try a few Tylenol. They will not decrease your pain as well as the prescribed medication but may make it tolerable.

Tylenol, Excedrin, Advil. any over the counter pain pills will help alleviate the pain. If you have prescription pain killers and they help, how about taking only a half of one, maybe wont make you loopy all day.

all depends on the kind of surgery take a bath maybe
but the best part is that you are your own boss
its un fair for others to expect you out if you are not all rehabilitated
its your decision
don't go out take a bath listen to soft music a glass of wine
lots of relaxing and time to heal

Take an OTC medicine like Motrin or Tylenol. Something that won't make you drowsy or "loopy"

There are acupressure bracelets you can buy at natural health stores. Some people find them helpful. Also. Before you go have a nap so that you are well rested. And apply heat so that your muscles are relaxed. Unless it was for surgery.

hey, first of all wish you the cure and wellness,
since you have had surgey ( as i guess it is recent) you should take care of your general status condition, don't over-act, and try to drink some hot-herbs (( Green Tea is the best )).
concerning the issue of Pain=killer, it is MANDATORY to recieve them ((IF YOU ARE IN PAIN )), and,,,,,,,,,,,,
try to avoid the STANDARD ONES , and please , take my advice ( being a doctor), and try to take this;;;
****ASPEGIC SACHET 1000mg ( 3 TIMES/DAY )****
, which is -opposit to the standard pain killers- more safe, powder like constitution, and very cheap , and most of all -- very very effective...
don't be resistant to avoid it, because you are in need for such a product to facilitate you -getting fun !!!.
thank you...

Since you put this in dental, I assume your surgery was to your mouth. The drug store should have something that numbs gums, such as for teething babies. Anbisol is one. Hope this helps.
