i hate the way the media portrays the arabs and the muslims. it simply disgusts me, ppl say tht they are not racist, but then they make fun of beliefs and religion. its not fair. everyone thinks tht those ppl who live in arab countries and are muslims are terrorists, i mean where the hel did they come up wid tht??!! now, if u tell someone ur muslim, they abuse u verbally..its sad and seriously whatever they say about the arab community is NOT TRUE. i'm in Kuwait, and they r friendly and jst like evryone else... watz the fuss abt these days??

The media. For people to be interested in their stories, a lot of times they exaggerate and lie about issues and made it seem like all Arabs and Muslims are terrorists. I personally know that not all Muslims and Arabs are evil but people are still traumatized(rightfully so) and terrified about what happened on 9/11 and it since it was said that Arabs and Muslims people were responsible,unfortunately, all Arabs and Muslims are all being classified the same. Most people I'm sorry to say either just believe everything they see on TV and hearsay than trying to find out how some people really are.

People historically have to hate someone. It is wrong, and if it would stop, the world would be a better place.
You should embrace different cultures - learn from them, understand them if you can. And, that is what people seem unwilling to do. It is the easy way out, to blame the problems of a society on the culture of the individuals that portrayed the event. This is stupid, there are bad Americans, bad Japanese, Chinese, etc. That type of hate is called prejudice. We are pre- judging people. The fuss these days, is the same fuss that America felt for japan in the 50s, or the same fuss that any historic enemies had. Nothing new.

Seeing muslim kill muslim day after day in Iraq doesn't help the cause of your people. I realize the media may not portray the situation as it really it, so I take all news with a grain of doubt, but the stories of bombs going off in mosques, marketplaces, pulling people out of busses and cars, killing innocent men, women and children for the sole reason that they are a different faction of the same faith, that's hard to swallow.
I realize they are just a minority, but this is happening

America spilled her sons blood to make sure Kuwait is a free land. don't start this America is evil and racist stuff. Do we believe Islam is evil.. I do It keep goop people away from faith in Christ, it spawns men like the 9-11 hijackers. As the building fell CNN showed Arabs dancing in the streets in joy.. The USA helps people all around the word we don't ask about your religion and still Islam hates us.. I for one am a bit bitter..

Christianity is a strange conglomeration of many facets. Revelations states that a very relatively small number of Christians will be resurrected and get to serve God in heaven for eternity, everyone else just goes to hell.
Each facet of Christianity believes that they are Jesus' favorite fan club, and all other facets are damned.
Any non-christian religion is viewed as evil, as are non believers in any deity.
Combine this with the Iraq/Afghanistan war, Hamas, Hezbollah, Al-Quida and the like sending post pubescent youths to blow themselves and others to bits in order to achieve the 72 virgins a night for eternity.
The result is the pooling of many enemies in Christ's name having a common enemy.
Media is not free, ratings determine advertising revenues, and people only want to hear that their assumptions and conclusions are correct so the "news" is not very objective in general.
IMHO, this does not justify killing one another over, but I seem to be in the minority there.

That is because you do not conflict with their beliefs. Get into a situation where you have a conflict in beliefs.. A man steals, do you condone cutting off his hand?? A muslim converts to christianity, do you try to kill him?? Wear your mini skirt in public?? Read the question about temporary marriages above, do you believe in your husband having a mistress??? We call that adultery..
You just are personally NOT living under sharia law.. Go to the library and try and find anti islam books where you are..

Of course most Muslims and Arabs are wonderful people.
But can you explain why thousands of non-combatants are killed by strangers every day worldwide and a disproportionate number of the killers are Muslims?

It is true that Christ came to bring peace---peace between the believer and God, and peace among men. Yet the inevitable result of Christ's coming is conflict, between Christ and the antichrist, between light and darkness, between Christ's children and the devil's children. This conflict can occur even between family members.
