I've never used this service before .but I wanted to thank everyone who answered. I was looking through some ancestor records off the web and one birthplace was named as Kelsham , Lancashire . The record was the census of 1891

There doesn't appear to be a Kelsham or anything similar in Lancashire. In fact, although it sounds a perfectly good place name, there doesn't seem to be a place called this in England

There is no Kelsham . It is Kelham and are a lot . In Lancashire is the beach Kelham . The city Kelham is in north west of Newark-on-Trent . And the Kelham Island is in Sheffield . And there is a street too with Kelham name. And there is Kelham Baptist Church in Falls Creek . If you want to find more send me which one and I send you a map with . Anyway I put some sites with maps of one of Kelhams of above ...
or Kelshall ... which is north east of Stevenage or south west of Royston .

Still no luck finding Kelsham, but trying
http://www.multimap.com/map/places.cgi?client=public&lang=&advanced=&keepicon=true&quicksearch=kels
,reveals similar sounding names, maybe by trying different spellings of the place you're after like
Kesh
Kel
will turn up something in multimap that's close to what your looking for.
Good Luck!
