I've seen in Edinburgh the same advertising, is it the same pub? :)
II think Advertisement in July about christmas is just to give us an impression : wow that pub have a great search for their services!

why on earth did your boss put a santa out in july, christ he is ad and why what a nutter.like we are really going to be thinking of christmas when its the summer. tell your boss to look at his calender and think about summer not xmas. but dressing the santa up for summer was a good ide. i would be emmbrassed to work there with a santa in the pub. good luck lol x

Well, just follow along with your boss and let him/her know that it is a pub and that there are cocktails served there, so that's why you put a drink in the Santa's hand

Tell him that most people don't want to be thinking about Christmas yet. I couldn't stand seeing Santas in July. Is it him who can't wait for Christmas already. If so, tell him he must live for today.

If anything, I think that it would be BETTER advertising than just the santa... why is he already advertising the christmas menu? Thanksgiving or Halloween is fine rite now, but CHRISTMAS?!?!?!?!

sounds like your boss needs a sense of humour .
worst thing is in the next few weeks my husbands work decide where they will be going for xmas and deposit has to be paid .
