No one says you can't worship your God, just stop trying to make him mine too.

You live under the Constitution of the United States of America, lady. Putting your religion and your Bible first is disloyalty to your country. You don't like Separation of Church and State? How would you like it if people said to YOU, "Well, America, love it or leave it, with your Christianity First?"
"Liberals get their way" indeed, SNORT. Plenty of people of other political views dislike substituting religion for the Constitution.
Treaty of Tripoli, 1796-1797
"Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."
Get that? Passed by the Senate, signed by the President.

You can love your god if you like. I don't believe there is a god. The Constitution of MY country tells me I am free to believe as I wish. Apparently you don't feel I have that right. I do not stop you from worshiping and believing as you see fit. Leave me to believe as I see fit. Right wing religious conservatives such as yourself are very hateful people, in my opinion.

What specific rights do you have as God-loving Americans that others don't? Unlike European countries (at the time, at least), the U.S. was founded as a non-religious country ('shall establish no religion...'). Its citizes are free to establish religion, of course! But religion is optional, not mandatory. As you said... love it or leave it.

Listen, I think it is great you worship your GOD! God gave us all free will, and if your worship excludes those who don't believe like you do, what sort of GOD is that?
I have no problem with people who believe in what ever they want. When those same people tell me I HAVE to believe, then I have a problem!
America is 300 MILLION strong. Do not tread on us

They do?
Akin's bill passing that forbids courts from ruling on 'under god' in the Pledge.

This is an act of forced faith and a claim of
supremacy of his branch of government over another.
How dare he trump the court's function of sorting out
the spaghetti mess of contradictions that congress
writes (but doesn't read) into law every year.

you can love god all you want, just stay off my porch with your religious literature. I'm a heathen-american, means I don't go to church, neither for nor against religion, I like the idea of secular government, don't you? LOL
