i met this guy on net.i have never met him one on one.but we have exchanged pics n talked on phone.we were totally in love with each other.even planning to spend the rest of our lives together once i finish up my graduation.anyways a few months ago he breaks the relationship off.saying tht since i am not frm his community his mom wont accept me.(p.s we both r hindus)but now he simply refuses to give me a chance.i love him immensely.i have tried moving ahead but to no avail.i cant love anyone else except him!!!wat i make out of his reasons for breaking something so beautiful?was i just a past time?or did he had real feelings for me too?y cant he give me one chance ..met me meet his mom n talk things over.his mom had a fit when she found out abt 2 of us...well thats what he said to me.he being her only son.she wants him to marry someone within her own community.his sis married someone outside their own community..sometimes i feel i never really meant anything to him.pls help...!!

u can never know the mind of a man or wats goin on up there. for a lot of ppl religion is a big thing, especially when it comes to marriage. i would try to contact him and his mom and talk to BOTH of them. ask his mom y she let her daughter marry someone outside tha communtity, throw that at her and see how she reacts. but if it doesnt work out for you, then this isnt the guy for you. i know it hurts now, and u think youll never be with any other guy, but i thought the exact same thing when this guy broke up with me for NO REASON! a few months later, im now dating a wonderful guy that treats me right, dont worry, theres other fish in the sea.

I think he is a mama's boy and you should move on. If he tells you he loves you but can't stand up for you to his mom you will be glad in the long run he is gone. Because had you ended up with him he would have chose you over her everytime. I guess that is ok if you don't mind taking the backseat to her.

I don't mean to be rude or anything but maybe he just wanted someone to talk to and not really love. It's his loss not yours, don't get mad or work yourself up. You'll find someone a whole lot better than him.
