yep, yep yep! i bought a bungalow to move my office to, and i have had a bottle of champagne in the fridge to celebrate when the contractors finally finish up the renovations! Also have a flight of Johnny Walker Scotch samples - including Johnny Walker Blue, which goes for about $200 a bottle (never heard of it until this great liquor store salesman talked me into getting this little flight. he said it was magnificent - did some research on it and by goodness, the guy was right!). Anyway, still not sure if i'm gonna crack the champagne against the prow of the house, or open it and drink it - I OPT FOR DRINKING! WANNA COME CELEBRATE????

Yes, and I'll be opening it in about 30 minutes. It is 'le Nombre d'Or - Campanae Veteres Vites' 1997 by L Aubry Fils
(and for those that know a bit about Champagne there is something very rare and unusual about it :)

There's a bottle of champagne on top of my fridge! I'm saving it for when I meet a deadline later this week.

I'm incredibly jealous. What a terrific way to start a week. I always feel that champane is a celebration. So, your question is making me think.... Celebrating what? A new freind, A great job, or perhaps even another safe commute home?
Oh well, who cares?
Enjoy

no
but i have had a HUGE bottle of some cheap champagne on a shelf for about 10 or more years - it was a "present" i did not need..
i do not have a use for a LOT of crappy plastic cork champagne
i would prefer one glass of dom perignon or ?? even a mid price california one would work..

I don't like champagne. But sounds like you're going to have a relaxing day. Enjoy.
