Buy a prepared angel food loaf cake & tear (or cut) into bite sized pieces. Prepare your choice flavor of Jello instant sugar free pudding. Layer pudding, cake pieces, fresh fruit. Repeat until all is used--top with Cool Whip.
This is really good & lower in calories.

I hate to get recipes that call for Splenda or other artificial sweeteners when I ask this kind of question. I think I know where you're coming from.

In the health food section of your grocery store, you can find lots of goodies. Stuff I like includes; boxed whole grain muffin mix, it is lightly sweetened but you can add bananas, nuts, craisins, dates, etc. They are very rewarding and you can top a hot one with a tiny dab of butter. They also have boxes of, I think the brand name is Pudge, brownie mix that doesn't call for oil and eggs, only plain yogurt. It is low in fat and calories. There is so much good fruit in season right now...try adding some fresh cold fruit to the blender with some vanilla yogurt, low fat milk and ice for a very refreshing smoothie.

If you prefer to cook from scratch, add details to your post and I will add more recipes.

Beat an egg with half cup of trim milk, whole teaspoon sucaryl liquid, tspn vanilla essence. DIp two pieces bread and fry until golden in one tspn butter and 1 tspn light oil. When cooked sprinkle lightly with equal powder and cinnamon mixed together Lastly serve with warm custard made with dessertspoon of custard powder, 1 cup trim milk, 11/2 tspn sucaryl liquid,
Really yum, warm and satisfying. Low calorie, so eat both slices. If youre really ''peckish'' and only eat one it usually isnt enough to satisfy the craving and after an hour or two a Food Junkie will end up having a real binge feast which is way way worse.

What about some fruit? Watermelon is a good one and when you've had your fill of it fresh, cut the extra off the rind, remove seeds, put in a food processor and freeze. It's great on those hot summer days. I also love peanut butter and apples - you can mix some honey in the peanut butter. Or maybe a banana with some honey. Strawberries dipped in sugar.

Try a fruit parfait. Sliced fresh fruit layered with yogurt. Try to use "organic" yogurt you cannot believe how tasty it is.

Or what about a root beer float? Vanilla sherbert or low-fat vanilla ice cream and a diet root beer?

These were all things I could tolerate on my diabetic diet.
