Your best bet to get ahold of a passport application today would be to do if off the internet. Look up expediated passport services. You can download all the forms needed and information need for the passport. They will even file it for u helping you get your passport a lot faster for a small fee. Can get it overnighted to you depending on the hurry. American Passports does a pretty good job and most the other ones that are the first to pop up on ur search engine.

Well I would initially say visit your local post office. You also need the appropriate sized pictures to accompany your application. You have to go to the post office to have it processed anyways. The form is simple to fill out so getting the picture is the difficult part. It will cost you about $90.

http://travel.state.gov - for the U.S. You can complete this on-line & print it. This site should also lead you to passport acceptance offices (post offices that will take your app) in your area. You will probably need to call them for an appointment. Some large cities have offices where you can get one in a couple of days if you need it in a hurry.

In the US, go to travel.state.gov
You'll want either a DS-11 or DS-82.
Download all the forms or you can fill out and print from the site to take in for submission.
